Marriage and family therapists assist people in coping with and resolving issues related to
their families and other relationships. My job as a marital and family therapist at my residence is
to observe Tommy's interactions with other residents (Pope & Vasquez., 2017
). I should assess and resolve Tommy's interpersonal issues. Tommy's transitional crisis, in
which he desires to avenge his mother's mistreatment by his father, should also be guided by me.

AAMFT Code of Ethics and applicable laws and regulations must be considered by the
