1. List three advantages and disadvantages of computer usage

in terms of its speed accuracy,storage and reliability.(12mrks)

Advantages
● It is incomparable to human in carrying out numerically and logically instructions.
● Does a lot more more work than you would have.
● The electronic components in modern computers are dependable and reliable
because they rarely break or fail.
● A computer can transfer data quickly from storage to memory, process it, and
then store it again for future use. Many computers store enormous amounts of
data and make this data available for processing anytime it is needed.
● It processes data according to the sequence of instructions .
● Computer calculates very accurately and computer never does mistake
although we often hear about the false results of computers. This may be due to
the error in data entry or due to poorly designed program.
Disadvantages

● Computer is not always fast especially when it needs

cleaning can be super slow this can slow down your
working progress or how fast you would want to finish
using the computer however if it is slow sitting around the
computer can cause eye problems..
● Computer is not always accurate it is man-made so it
sometimes malfunction and you will not have the correct
answers you are looking for.
● You must need your user-id and password safe to protect your data as
if someone knows or even guess your credentials, it may result in loss
of data. Use complex passwords and try to avoid storage them in your
personal storage devices such as pen drive and HDD.
● Relying on computer too much can cause you to become lazy and
less confident. Can cause u to have dependence on it so without
it you do not know anything

Microcomputer, an electronic device with a microprocessor as its central
processing unit (CPU). Microcomputer was formerly a commonly used term for
personal computers, particularly any of a class of small digital computers whose
CPU is contained on a single integrated semiconductor chip.

Another name for microcomputer is Laptop.
