Quality Assessment (DQA). We were able to identify certain key issues that we have detailed
below,

Inaccuracy
Missing dates of birth.
Missing ages.

Completeness
Certain categories were blank.

Consistency
Gender inconsistency all customers should provide their gender either as symbols or in words.

Relevancy
Certain data that cannot be used for future purposes of the business should not be collected.
Profit data was missing which is crucial data that needs to be collected.
In light of these problems which reduce the quality of the data provided we have
recommended actions that need to be followed to solve the current problems.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
ESTABLISHING OF DATA QUALITY GOALS.
Assigning teams to ensure that goals set for data quality are achieved in other words, efficient
data capturing

AVOID OVERLOADING.
If data entry specialists are overloaded with work this can lead to data entry errors due to
exhaustion, fatigue or boredom.

USE OF DATA DEDUPLICATION TOOLS.

In situations where problems may arise due to duplicated data its important to use these tools
so as to avoid duplication, the tools utilize algorithms that to hunt through very large data sets
and identify duplicate records.
INSTALLING STANDARD FORMATS.
In cases scenario when dealing with date and also phone numbers there should be a single
format for this data for example, DD/MM/YY.
Therefore, its important to state which formats are to be used so as to avoid any
inconsistencies.

MINIMIZING INCOMPLETE INFORMATION.

Certain software will have issues when it comes to analyzing information that is not complete
therefore, its important to ensure that records are not formed for incomplete information or
fields.

USE OF AUTOMATION TOOLS.

Human errors are normally hard to spot if there is no proper software counter checking data
that is being keyed in to the system. This could be due to customer providing wrong
information or person keying in the data to the system. Automation tools will help minimize
this risk as data is being moved from between systems.
Yours Sincerely,
