Shell are moving to a new way for external users to access Shell
applications such as SharePoint. A new One Time Password application
called PingID, will replace the existing CA OTP application.
In order to continue to access SharePoint once the new service is
available, you will need to follow the instructions in this guide to register
on PingID then download and set up the application.
How to register
1. Go to your internet browser and type the following link:
https://desktop.pingone.com/shell
2. In the ‘SELECT AUTHENTICATION SYSTEM’ drop down, choose
PingID MFA then click Submit.
4. Enter your own company email address and click Send Request.

5. You will receive an email from simeiosolutions.com to your company 8. If successful, you are informed that your password has been reset.

USING PINGID TO ACCESS SHELL SHAREPOINT 3. Enter your company email address and your new password
You will be notified of the date on which PingID will become active for
use. Until this time, you should continue to use your existing OTP app for
access.
Once PingID is active, you can follow the steps below to access Shell
SharePoint using the new method.
Using PingID to access Shell SharePoint 4. You will see the below Authentication screen prompting for the OTP.
1. Open the Shell SharePoint URL that you have access to.
2. Select PingID MFA from the drop down menu and click Submit.
