Proposal form

We invite you to share your talents with teachers from around the state this fall!

Please complete a proposal application for the 2011 Fall TAEA Conference and submit to
Jessica Orvis, jorvis@fristcenter.org by June 30, 2011. Applications will be reviewed by a
committee and acceptance emails will be sent by July 30, 2011.

o Gain new skills in the specific technique


o Gain new application for classroom curriculum
o Gain one new strategy for incorporating core subject into the art curriculum

o Presentation
Hands-on demos: 90-minute demonstrations of lesson plans illustrating effective ways to present the
art curriculum or arts integration. Includes connections to state curriculum standards and assessment
measures. Copies of lesson plans must be provided to participants. Hands-on component for
participants required.

Presentation: All presentations should be 90 minutes and focus on the arts, arts instruction, teacher
practice, student achievement, etc.
Sessions will address one of the four areas of TAEA’s mission. Please select the most appropriate for
your proposal
