Research Methodology:

To collect data we use the Primary Research and the Secondary Research both, because we are
entering in a big and very competitive market, so before entering in it we must be aware of the
benefits and the losses & this awareness help us in future.

1. Primary Research:
First we did the primary research in this research we collect first hand data. Primary research
involves getting original data directly about the product and market. Primary research data is
data that did not exist before. It is designed to answer specific questions of interest to the
business. In this we collect data from two sources and these two sources are: in primary
research basically include Questionnaires & interview with Company Management.
o Questionnaire.
Second we made a questionnaire and analyze that what people of Abu Dhabi says about the
product and what they think about the new product. Are they willing to accept new product,
what should be the price of the biscuits. Etc.

Main reward of primary research is

o Specific to the purpose – asks the questions the business wants answers to.
o Collects data which no other business will have access to (the results are confidential).
o In the case of online surveys and telephone interviews, the data can be obtained quite
quickly (think about how quickly political opinion polls come out).
2. Secondary Research:

Secondary research occurs when a project requires a summary or collection of existing data. As
opposed to data collected directly from respondents or "research subjects" for the express
purposes of a project, secondary sources already exist.
These secondary sources could include previous research reports, newspaper, magazine and
journal content, and government and NGO statistics. Sometimes secondary research is required
in the beginning stages of research to determine what is known already and what new data are
required, or to inform research design. At other times, it may make be the only research
technique used.
In this we collect most of our data from internet. We study journals, articles & books etc.
o Target Population:
We are entering in the city Abu Dhabi
With a population of 1,600,000 and a land area of 67,000 square kilometers, Abu Dhabi is the
largest as well as the most populated of all the Emirates Population of Abu Dhabi 1.6 million.
Abu Dhabi enjoys the highest income per capita in the world. Abu Dhabi growing at an average
annual rate of 4.7% across the UAE, Emirati citizens makes up nearly 20% of the total
population; the other 80% are expatriates from Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe and North
America.
