1. Self-Discipline, Integrity, Persistence, Clear Sense of Direction, Decisiveness and Action-
taking. These 5 approaches/methods to set your mentality to succeed, you will discover that not only you train yourself up to becoming a better entrepreneur, but also discover many more of your strengths along the way. Some of which, perhaps you have never known about! 2. As an employee my stress level was always low. I went into work, knew what was expected of me, put in my hours, and came home. do not have to worry about where your next paycheck is coming from or running the daily operations of a business. when you clock out you’re done with work. You can go home to your family and forget about your job. As an employee your income is limited. As an Entrepreneur when you are working for yourself it can be hard to get out of work mode. Especially if you work at home. Your computer and phone are always near you and it is so tempting to check your email or do a little more work. The advantage is that depending on your business, you may get to work less hours than an employee would and therefore get to spend more time with your family and friends. The amount of money you bring in and the rate your business grows is all up to you. 3. Do not spend the time trying to impress anyone, because what you do may end up causing jealousy, making more enemies and competitors. You would want to make more friends, partners, and collaborators by inspiring them. Do not spend the time trying to look good with the label “entrepreneur” because everyone says it’s “really cool” when what you are doing every day is not working on the business progress but making yourself busy to look like you are successful. 4. You must adjust and make a business decision as to whether or not you want that person on your team or if you want to mentor them up for the future. I am stunned by how many people run businesses and expect others to care about their business as much as they do. The only way I expect somebody to care about my business as much as I do is if they have equal equity in that business. And even then, I do not expect them to care as much as I do. ILYN S.
