This Digital Citizenship WebQuest was created for professional development for

teachers. I created it with new teachers in mind to share the importance of safety precautions on

their work computer, but it could easily be used for veteran teachers. As all teachers are given

personal computers, they will complete the WebQuest on their computers during Professional
Assignment 6 1

Development. The WebQuest itself is meant to be done individually but then discussed as a

small group or whole group, especially number six.

Positives of this WebQuest include learning about cybersecurity and how to prevent it

from happening. A negative would be that there are so many things that fall under cybersecurity;

it is hard to teach it all. I believe that what teachers learn about cyber-attacks from this

WebQuest is something they can use with work and personal technology. I also believe it is a

good start for teachers to learn about cyber safety so they can teach their students the proper way

to stay safe using technology.
