What ai you learn about technology coaching and echnolagy leadership from completing ths eli experience? | was approached to participate in our schools PLN/Quick Connect sessions. After participating in other school-wide PD, I saw a need for a beginner centered approach to implementing instructional technology. We have a brosd span of ages and experiences in our building and I wanted to provide support to those who may otherwise fee] overwhelmed in a more advanced setting. 2. How did this learning relate to the knowledge (what must you know), skills (what must you be able to do) and dispositions (attitudes, beliefs, enthusiasm) required of a technology facilitator or technology leader? Knowledge -I am currently « Google Level I & 2 certified educator. Ihave a strong tndestanding of what Google Slides can do and how they can be used to enhance both in-person and digital earners. [tried to make the learning as authentic as possible by having teachers participate in their own Google Slides during “I do, You do” of basic slides features ‘Skills - In designing the professional learning session, I continued to develop my understanding of adult learning styles and demonstrate best teaching practices with my participants Dispositions - I need to assist my audience in feeling that effective educational technology is something that is attainable by all. By focusing on the need of a beginning technology experience my eyes were really opened to the variety of skills teachers were and weren't comfortable with 3.
