T. Briefly describe te ie eqperienes. What ai you learn about technology coaching and echnolagy leadership from completing ths eli
experience?
| was approached to participate in our schools PLN/Quick Connect sessions. After participating in other school-wide PD, I saw a need for a beginner
centered approach to implementing instructional technology. We have a brosd span of ages and experiences in our building and I wanted to provide support
to those who may otherwise fee] overwhelmed in a more advanced setting.
2. How did this learning relate to the knowledge (what must you know), skills (what must you be able to do) and dispositions (attitudes, beliefs,
enthusiasm) required of a technology facilitator or technology leader? (Refer to the standards you selected above. Use the language of the PSC
standards in your answer and reflect on all 3—-knowledge, skills, and dispositions.)
Knowledge -I am currently « Google Level I & 2 certified educator. Ihave a strong tndestanding of what Google Slides can do and how they can be used to
enhance both in-person and digital earners. [tried to make the learning as authentic as possible by having teachers participate in their own Google Slides
during “I do, You do” of basic slides features
‘Skills - In designing the professional learning session, I continued to develop my understanding of adult learning styles and demonstrate best teaching
practices with my participants
Dispositions - I need to assist my audience in feeling that effective educational technology is something that is attainable by all. Thad to really focus on
being patient with my teachers participating. By focusing on the need of a beginning technology experience my eyes were really opened to the variety of
skills teachers were and weren't comfortable with
3. Describe how this field experience impacted school improvement, faculty development or student learning at your schocl. How can the impact be
assessed? I hope that those participated felt supported in their efforts and will seck out additional opportunites to use technology in their classroom. The
impact can be assessed with th: response of the participants. I have had several ofthe participants reach out for follow-up sessions using Google Slides and
adding higher levels of engagenent through technology,
