ASSIGNMENTS 2
1. Given the attached table of selected students in Excel, that is Assign 20, create another table that is
sorted on the CWA field such that the student with the highest CWA appear at the top, i.e. In
descending order of CWA. Save this table and give it the name Assign 20a.
a. Now open the file Assign 20a.
Copy the table into sheet 2 of Assign 20a. Rename the first sheet as CWA, and sheet 2 as (CWA, DEPT,
FACULTY).
b. Sort the table in sheet (CWA, DEPT, FACULTY) in descending order of CWA within ascending order of
department, within ascending order of faculty. In other words, the record of students in the same
department should be in descending order, while those in the same FACULTY should be in descending
order as shown in the table below. Remember to use the Add Level button.

2. You have been elected to give a presentation on COVID-19 virus to SHS students in your former school.
Create a power point presentation on COVID-19, showing its devastating effects and how one can
possible protect him or herself from this virus. Your presentation should be between 15 and 20 slides.
You may include Tables, charts, Audio, video and other objects as well as transitions to make you
presentation interesting. Remember NOT to overdo it. Save your work and call it Assign20b.

3. a. Given a table of the breakdown of students who owe fees in the various halls of residents in the
table below, (table is in the attached Excel file) create a 3D clustered column chart to show number of
students who owe fees by year in every hall of residence. File is Named STUDENTS.xlsx and sheet that
has the table is FEES

b. Relocate this chart to sheet 2 and rename the sheet as “FEES COLUMN”.

c. Create a 3D-pie chart showing in total, the proportion of students in each year that owe fees.
Position this pie chart properly on the FEES sheet.

d. Insert percentages on the slices that indicate the proportion of the total population it represents.
Explode the Year that has the highest number of students owing fees.
