wudc2020tab@gmail.com

All participants are asked to note the following information for arrival at WUDC 2020:
● Tournament registration will be open from 9:00am through 7:00pm on December 27th and 28th.
Registration will take place at the VME building on the Assumption University campus.
● All participants are required to individually complete tournament registration.
○ Shuttle buses will run from the airports directly to the VME building, and buses will then
run from the VME building to the tournament hotels.
○ Participants who have already arrived at their hotel, or who otherwise proceed to their
hotel first, should make their own way to the campus.
● Upon arrival at the VME building, participants will be required to first settle any outstanding
finances with the Finance team. They will then be given their name tag, logistical information and
SIM card, and will then be checked in by the tab team.
○ You must bring your passport to receive your SIM card.
● The ‘Check-Ins’ list on the tournament tab site
(https://wudc2020.herokuapp.com/wudc2020/checkins/status/people/) indicates who has
been marked as ‘registered’ by the tab team. Tournament registration is not considered
complete until a member of the tab team scans the barcode on your nametag, and your name is
green on this check-in page.
● Upon arrival at your hotel, you should be prepared to pay a 500 baht cash deposit on your room.
● Participants who arrive after registration closes on the 28th should proceed to Late Registration,
running from 7:00am on the morning of December 29th, outside the briefing rooms on the
Assumption University Campus.
● Participants who do not complete tournament registration and have their name tag scanned
by 9:30am on Sunday December 29th may be dropped from the draw for Round 1.
○ Participants who picked up their nametags prior to the 29th will be required to re-check in
for Day 1 of debates on the 29th by having their barcode scanned in the lobby of their
hotel.
