Materials you will need:

Worsted yarn in white, pink, ivory & light green (or any color of your choice)
Embroidery thread/floss for nose and mouth
Size F/5 (3.75 mm) crochet hook
Safety black eyes (12 mm)
Embroidery Needle
Cotton batting or stuffing of your choice
The finished doll was approximately 17 inches tall and 7inches wide. (12 inches sitting down
including ear) but size can vary depending on the tension of your stitch and kind of yarn.

Abbreviations I used:

ch = chain
sc = single crochet
dc= double crochet
st(s) = stitch(es)
dec = decrease (sc over two stitches)
sl st = slip stitch

Row 2: *4 sc in first sc, 2 sc in next sc*, repeat 9 times (54 sts)
(Leave enough yarn to sew onto head and fasten off)

Scarf
** Using pink color yarn-note this is done in rows not rounds **
Row 1: Chain 15 (15 sts)
Row 2: dc in 2nd ch from hook and in each 13 chain across, slst in the last chain.
(make two of these and attach together, pull yarns through both ends. I attached beads on
the two ends of the yarns)

Stuffing &Assembly

Fill with stuffing so it¶s full enough that you get a fairly firm shape but not too full that you are
over stretching the fabric. When sewing two parts together you can use left over yarn from
either parts. You can add a bit more stuffing before you close completely.
(Here is the order in which I find the easiest)
1) Stuff cotton in head. (not completely, just to see the shape)
2) Sew in the muzzle on the bottom part of head. Sew in ears and attach eyes.
3) Stuff more cotton in head and torso and sew together.
4) Stuff Arms and legs and attach to torso.
5) Embroider in the nose and mouth on top of muzzle with pink thread.
6) Sew in the skirt on the bottom part of torso.
