Leonardo da Vinci

Leonardo da Vinci is one of the greatest geniuses in the history of mankind because he
made various contributions that greatly benefited the fields of art, science and medicine.

First, he was the greatest painter of his time and nowadays he is considered one of the
greatest painters of all time whose paintings are recognized throughout the world as
magnificent works of art. For example, two of his best-known paintings are the Mona Lisa and
the Last Supper, which are currently considered cultural heritage.

Second, he was an expert inventor whose inventions helped the development of


humanity. In addition, he made designs of machines and engines which were quite advanced
for that time. For example, he made the plans and designs of a mill and an engine which
worked with water. In addition, these inventions could be used as hydraulic machinery to build
bridges, which transformed the architecture of that time.

Third, he was a renowned anatomist because he carried out various studies on the
human body that benefited the development of medicine. For example, he carried out
anatomical studies on the development of the fetus in the womb, which he captured in
drawings and published in a book that could be used by the doctors of that time.

In conclusion, due to his various contributions in different fields, he is considered one


of the greatest geniuses of humanity.
