If you were given a chance to make any new law regarding promoting and preserving historical

shrines, landmarks, and sites, what would it be and why? Rationalize your answer.
 If given the opportunity to create a new law promoting and preserving historical shines,
landmarks, and sites, I would make it a law that it will all be free, open to the public,
and not limited to people because I know that all people deserve to see the beauty of
these historical figures so, I think it would be better if any of us can freely visit it
without thinking of the entrance, of the time, and such. Besides that, with the help of
my proposed law, we can broaden each Filipino's knowledge about this kind of stuff as
they'll be engaged in visiting and learning how this became one of our beloved
country's historical shrines, landmarks, and sites.
Why are national sites and landmarks important in the Philippines?
 National sites and landmarks are significant in our beloved country, Philippines for it
will give us a chance to honor or respect the integrity of those people who fight for our
freedom as well as the location where it occurs. It serves as a reminder for us to
remember their sacrifices, battles, and struggles in order for us to be free of conquest.
Similarly, learning this will provide us with a sense of identity for it will lead us to on
looking back on those times when they were fighting for our freedom.

As a student and as future educator, how will you promote the historical shrines, landmarks
and sites? Explain your answer.
 Since we live in a world surrounded by social media and other technological platforms, I
believe that social media is the best way to promote this. As a student, I can post on my
social media accounts about some landmarks and facts about them so that my friends
recognize how beautiful that specific landmark is and they'll be soon eager to visit such
place. I should just pay attention to the content I'll be posting because I want to educate
and promote people, not just say something to be famous on social media.

How will you promote our cultural and historical heritage? *

I can use social media to promote our cultural and historical heritage since we now live
in a world where social media can handle lot of things. Using this, many people can view and
see the beautiful sites of our cultural and historical heritage with just a simple post and click.
Moreover, these two are crucial in preserving our sense of identity, so it is essential that we,
Filipinos, promote them so that everybody can appreciate and understand the significance of
such heritage.

What is the Goal of National Commission For Culture and arts

The National Commission for Cultural and Arts develops and implements policies and
plans to preserve and promote the nation's heritage. It also searches for the best traditional arts
in the country, implements a program to ensure the transfer of their skills to others, and takes
steps to promote a genuine appreciation for and instill pride in Filipinos.

Why is it important to preserve our cultural heritage? How can we preserve our heritage?
Preserving cultural heritages will give us a sense of identity as it will teach us to
appreciate the things that give us freedom. Similarly, it provides us with an unmistakable link
to the past—our distinct social values and traditions that give us a sense of national belonging
and pride. Besides that, as a source of identity, heritage is an important factor in empowering
local communities and allowing vulnerable groups to fully participate in social and cultural
life. It can also offer established solutions for conflict prevention and resolution.

In our modern times, do you think marriage is still important? Why?

Yes, I believe marriage is still important in modern times as it allows people to legally
bind their love through marriage. Marriage is intended to be a loving, intimate, and genuine
relationship between a man and a woman that will last until eternity. Since they made a life-
long commitment to each other, it should bring happiness and contentment to both parties.
Besides that, marriage is intended to reflect our God's unfailing love for us. It's a love that will
always be there for us, never leaving or abandoning us. When a man and woman love one
another unconditionally, contentment and joy follows.

What is your comfort Filipino food? Why?

Sinigang will always be a comfort food for me. With its sour soup, sinigang is marked
as Filipino comfort food. Sinigang is a tamarind-based soup with a sour and savory flavor. It
can be made with fish, pork belly, spare ribs, or corned beef. My personal favorite is with pork
ribs, a variety of vegetables, and a bed of rice. Because of the sourness and slight spice, it
arouses the senses. In addition, ingesting the chilies causes the body to sweat, which aids in
cooling, especially on a hot day. It is a light and tasty dish that is ideal for our country's
tropical climate.
What were your favorite Filipino games when you were a kid? Share your experience.
I used to play outside a lot as a normal kid. I spent almost everyday playing with my
cousins. One of the traditional Filipino games were playing was Piko. Piko is a simple game.
All you need is a marker, such as "chalk" or "crayola," or anything that can be used to draw
lines in concrete. Some people play on plain ground, such as fine sand, and make marks with a
stick. For this game, you'll also need a "pamato" or pucks, which is usually a flat stone or a
broken pot.

Give at least two (2) Traditional culture and Religious Practices. Explain the importance of
those traditions that you chose.
Bunong Braso and Fiesta were two of the many traditional Pinoy cultural and religious
practices. These two are indeed important to Filipinos because they represent past traditions
that are slowly fading as we become more reliant on technology. Moreover,   the fiesta is still
celebrated by all barangays in the Philippines as a way of thanking their patron saints. It was
beautifully celebrated, with parades, bands making noise on the street, and people dancing to
the beat of music.

As a student, how will you promote Filipino culture and tradition?

As were now living in a modern world were technology is with us all the times, I think
the most essential tool on promoting the Filipino culture and tradition is trough vlogs.
Vlogging is a well-known method of promoting and interacting with people not only in our
country but also around the world. It would be fantastic if we could promote our unique culture
and traditions in this simple way so that people other than Filipinos recognize the beauty and
authenticity of Filipino culture and traditions.
