Nutrition assessment is the process of analyzing anthropometric, biological, clinical, and dietary

data in order to determine if an individual or a group of people is well-nourished or malnourished.

According to British Dietetic Association (BDA) 2012, Nutrition evaluation is the systematic method of
gathering and analyzing information in order to make decisions about the type and cause of nutrition-
related health problems that affect a person or an individual. Nutritionists or qualified healthcare
professionals perform this evaluation to determine if the body is getting enough nutrients. Furthermore,
the primary goal of nutrition assessment is to recognize the presence and type of malnutrition, to define
health-threatening obesity, and to develop appropriate diets as a preventative measure against disease
later in life.

In addition, nutritional evaluation is essential for determining each patient's nutritional status,
identifying populations at risk of malnutrition, and developing new and improved nutritional programs.
With this, nutrition evaluation is critical in this situation because it determines a patient's nutritional
status and offers a complete image of their nutrition, deity behaviors, and weight.

To sum it up, I believe that by identifying the causes of possible health issues, people can avoid
having or developing a serious illness and avoiding the possibility of malnutrition. Also, nutritional
assessment is really important since this practice will be useful in uncovering unhealthy eating patterns.
Lastly, this will ensure the safety of all people by providing information about their health condition, the
proper diet to follow, and how they can take care of themselves. Possibility
