Digital Safety Rule

Class Year & Section: Grade 12 TVL – CSS
Time Schedule: Weekdays (Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday) every 8:30 to
9:30 AM.
Classroom Environment:
Classroom space is dominated by 4 rectangular-large tables, each table
seating 4 students. There is a medium sized square table that seats 4 four students
as required of IATF minimum health protocol. Classroom seats maximum of 20
students for classroom instruction. My desk is behind the medium table and in front
of the back wall across from the door. There are computers near the left wall, all
with available seating. There is an Art Center for the Fine Arts class across the room
from the computers. A Smart Board is at the front of the room. There are three
bookshelves throughout the front of the room and a student center in the back near
the door.

Age range: 16 – 19 years old
Learners Profile: 60% average ability and 40% advance ability

TILIZE METHODS, MEDIA, AND MATERIALS

PowerPoint Presentation
Used to prepare lectures and presentations by helping instructors refine their
material to salient points and content. Class lectures can be typed in outline format,
which can then be refined as slides.
Video Clip/Presentation
Serve as another source of information or serve as an example of the topic to be
discussed. Also helps the students more to understand about the topic.
Visual Aids (Bitay Max)
Used as the secondary/back-up plan just in case of power
interruption/black-out/brown-out. It also gives a clear instructions/directions,
gives wide range of learning.
Flash Cards
Serve as another back-up plan in case of power interruption, to be used also while
the discussion is going on by giving an example by the use of flash
cards/manipulative instructional materials.

Sequence of instructional procedures/activities/events

Activity
The students will be given an activity called “Maria goes Viral” a modified game of
“Maria goes to town” and “Charade”, which will show the proper usage/ethicists
of the virtual world or shows the Digital Safety Rule.
Analysis
The teacher will ask a question about the activity given.
Does the activity face the real-time situations?
Have they realized their misconducts or mistaken actions during using of virtual
world/digital world?
Can they identify some of the major rule of virtual/digital world?
Does the safety rule may help them to lessen or more aware in using of digital
world?
Abstraction
The teacher will give a video presentation of the safety rules in using virtual world.
The teacher also give a hand-outs or hard copy of the digital safety rule.
Using the activity given earlier the teacher will discuss the digital safety rule that
have been used or identify during the activity.
Application:
The teacher will give another group activity, which they will having a
brainstorming or they may create a summary on how the digital safety rule may
apply in a real-time situation.
VALUTE AND REVISE
Student Performance: (Assignment, Quiz, or a Group Project)

i. Assignment
Directions: In a half cross-wise sheet of paper. List at least two (2) example of
rampant error using of digital world and give what is the possible proper rule
to be used in the particular error.

ii. Individual Project


Directions: In short illustration board. Portray one example of the Digital
Safety Rule, which you may observed the most.
