Dialogue Writing

1. On you way to the college to your college, you met with a

minor accident. When your friend asked you about the
reason for reaching the college late by an hour, you narrate
the situation to your friend. Write a dialogue on this
situation.

Friend: Hey, Vinay! Why so late? What happened?

I: I met with an accident when I was on my way to the college.

Friend: Oh, my God! How did it happen?

I: Actually, a stray dog suddenly came in front of my bike. I just lost

control over my bike and fell down.

Friend: Oh, no! Were you badly injured?

I: Fortunately, no serious injuries. I went to a nearby health centre

and got the first aid. I am absolutely fine now.

2. You were invited by your friend to his birthday party which

you could not attend due to some unavoidable
circumstances. Write a dialogue on this situation.

I: Hello, Mihir! How are you?

Friend: Dipak! Don’t talk to me. I am angry with you.

I: But why? What wrong have I done?

Friend: You didn’t attend my birthday party and now you are asking
me what wrong you have done.

I: Oh! Now I got it. My dear! When I was about to leave for your
birthday party, my grandfather had a cardiac arrest. I immediately
took him to the hospital and for the whole night I was with him. I
didn’t even get time to call and offer you birthday wishes.

Friend: Oh, God! I am so sorry, Dipak. I will pray for his speedy
recovery and good health.
