BARANGAY ANTI-DRUG ABUSE COMMITTEE (BADAC) and MASA MASID

ORIENTATION

(An Activity Design)

I. RATIONALE

President Rodrigo R. Duterte’s administration has a strong stand to curb

criminality, corruption and illegal drugs.

In this regard, DILG Memorandum Circular Nos. 2016-63 and 2016-116 were
issued mandating the organization of the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Committee and
the Mamamayang Ayaw sa Anomaliya, Mamamayang Ayaw sa Ilegal ng Droga
(MASA MASID) Teams in every barangay. They will serve as the umbrella
organization for mobilizing community-based volunteers and multi-sectoral mass
based approach to promote peace and safe communities.

The BADAC and MASA MASID Teams needs to be strengthened with

knowledge on anti-drug and corruption policies, programs and projects.

Hence, this training design.

II. OBJECTIVES

At the end of the activity, the participants will be briefed and oriented on
their functions as BADAC and MASAMASID Team members.

III. METHODOLOGY

This activity will be using the methods of lecture-discussion and open forum.

IV. DATE AND VENUE

This will be a one-day activity to be conducted on April 25, 2017 at the

Municipal Gym, Kadingilan, Bukidnon.

The total amount will chargeable to the municipal government subject to

the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
