Ma’am:

May the good Lord bless us all. I had read through social media platform that your school is
accepting applications for teaching position for the School Year 2021-2022, so I had earned my
courage to write this letter of application of mine to your respectable school Aparri West
National High School, my alma mater, to the position of a Junior High School teacher of Social
Science subject.

My name is Eleine T. Alvarez, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in

Management Accounting graduate and a Bachelor of Secondary Education earning units major in
Social Science. I took the Licensure Examination for Teachers last September 30, 2018 and
blessed to past it last December 7, 2018 with a passing score of 81.6. Documents certifying these
were attached in my folder.

I know that I do not have much experience in the teaching profession, but, I experienced once
being a certified teacher when I substituted a teacher for Grade 1 students at Lyceum of Lal-lo
for about 12 days in count. I did and felt of what a true teacher could be. The love, the passion of
being the second parent of the students were fulfilling and worth all the efforts done. I may not
have the best qualifications of all, but I believe that God had given me enough strength, courage,
ability, wisdom and love to pursue this profession in action. I will do all that I must do in the best
way I can.

I was once a student, a parent and a teacher, and with this profession, I am willing to become one
in all. I am willing to embrace the challenges that a 21 st century educator must. Through different
webinars and trainings I attended, I am fully aware that I am equip to face more for my
professional growth and development. I will stand firm and prove to the world that “teaching” is
the noblest profession, because Jesus is the greatest teacher I know.

I want to be a part of every student’s success, which they can look back when time flies forward.
I want to hear them utter the sweet word ‘teacher’ even when I am in the colors’ of gray. And
with this, please give me the chance to prove my worth, to prove that I am worth the price.
