Spring Testing 2022

Information for Students and Parents


Who will be testing?
9th graders - PSAT 8/9 on April 13th

10th graders - PSAT 10 on April 13th

11th graders - MStep on April 12th, SAT on April 13th, & WorkKeys on April 14th

12th graders - Seniors will be excused from school on April 13th.


They will not be testing

Some Logistics
● Transportation will be provided to school for students each day of testing.
Students will need transportation home if they wish to leave after testing
concludes. Otherwise students may wait at school until the busses leave at
the end of the day.
● Students will be provided with a bagged breakfast/snack at the start of the
day. Lunches may be ordered for students staying on Wednesday. Speak to
your student’s counselor for more information.
● Students in grades not testing will be expected to attend and participate in
classes each day, except for Seniors on Wednesday, April 13th.
Logistics Cont.
● Students may not access their lockers during testing. Only before and after.
Students who need to, may leave items in the office.
● Electronics are not permitted in testing rooms, nor are they allowed during
breaks. Students with electronic devices during testing at any point will be
dismissed from testing.
● Room assignments will be emailed to students the week before testing.
● Calculators will be provided to Juniors only. Freshmen and Sophomores
will need to bring their own with them to testing.
Safety Protocols
● All safety guidelines required by SAT and ACT at the time of testing will be
followed. This may mean students will be required to wear a mask, if the
company requires it at the time of testing.
● Students will also be provided with new clean pencils each day of testing.
● Gloves will be available for those who wish to use them, along with lots of
hand sanitizer.
● All tables and chairs will be sanitized before and after each testing session.
How do I register for testing?
● All students in grades 9-11 have been registered already
● We will not be holding a pre-registration session this year. Information will
be shared on the next slide on where you can go to prepare for the tests.
● 10th and 11th grade students… If you wish to sign up for Student Search
Services you must do so on your own. Information can be found here:

any student wishing to have a hard copy of the practice testing materials.
