The Philippines is classified as a "developing country." It does have a lot of issues.

Regardless of these issues, the Filipinos' disunity needs and must be addressed first. I am a
Filipino citizen who believes that other issues cannot be handled without everyone cooperating.
And if you're a teenager who uses social media, you will easily notice the divisiveness
among Filipinos that I am referring to. Despite the fact that we have the freedom to speak and
share our thoughts, we appear to be losing respect for our fellow Filipinos. I believe that if
everyone treats each other with respect, they will gain a better understanding that will lead to
unity.
Another issue I have noticed that I think leads to disunity is the Filipinos' indignities in
their government. I believe our contribution to a peaceful and prosperous government is our
support for our leaders. On the other hand, if you/we do not agree with our government's
action, we can still work out a solution for it as you approach them calmly and courteously.
We, the Filipino people, must participate in every action taken by our government,
whether at home, in our town, or our community. There are various ways to show our support
for them. Allowing ourselves to degrade our own country, the Philippines, is not a solution.
With the chance to restore Filipinos' unity, it's the first way of resolving other, larger
issues in the Philippines. Slowly changing oneself is not a negative thing as it has a large
counterpart in our country. Rather than relying solely on our government, we must forge
ahead.
