Submission What can be

ARCHHIVE BOOKS will accept submissions of all kinds, Text (400 words or less)
written or illustrative, that can fit on a single page or a
two-page spread, to be included in its print publication. Diagrams

Submission
formats
• The print publication will be formatted in portrait
orientation, A4 sheet size.
• Submissions are to fill a maximum of one spread.
Images or graphics should be formatted in portrait
orientation to fit a single A4 page, or formatted to be
split on 2xA4 facing portrait-oriented sheets in a
spread.
All submissions must be uploaded via the
architecturecompetitions.com upload panel. Access
information and instructions on how to upload the
presentation panel will be issued to participants via
email immediately after successful registration.
• All submissions must be digital:
• Text submissions, including footnotes, citations,
and illustration notes, must be submitted digitally
in .doc format.
• Images must be submitted in .jpeg or .tiff formats,
300 dpi, and CMYK.
• Vector-only graphics should be submitted in .pdf
formats. Should submissions be selected for print,
.ai or .eps files may be requested.
• No video files are accepted.

Text Images and Graphics

• Spelling in American Standard English.
• Relevant footnotes or citations should follow the
Chicago Manual of Style.
• Essays, articles, or other text documents cannot have
been previously published.
• ARCHHIVE BOOKS is not responsible for copyright fees
or other costs related to images or illustrations. It is
the author’s responsibility to supply adequate and
accurate information for credits. Authors are
responsible for contacting photographers, artists,
organizations, or others to secure publication rights.
• All data-driven graphics or diagrams should be
adequately cited and accompanied by captions or
credits (if not included on the image, they should be
sent in a separate .doc file).

Eligibility
The competition is open to all. No professional qualification is
required. Submissions can be developed individually or by teams (4
team members maximum).
People who have direct personal or professional relationships with
jury panel members or organisers may not participate in this
competition.
