T13-01 Deleting the Route-Record Field

T13-0101 Deleting the Route-Record Field

Objective Verify that the signaling service processing system (SPS) can delete the Route-
Record field carried in a Diameter message to screen certain network
configurations and topology structures from devices on other carrier's networks.

Network Diagram See Figure 1 in Part III Appendix.

Prerequisites  All the link sets and links in Figure 1 are configured and the status of the
links is normal. Peer device 1 has been configured by running ADD
DMPEER on SPS_A with Topology hiding flag set to Yes(YES).
 Messages from Peer device 1 are routed to Peer device 2 through SPS_A.
 The license for the topology hiding function has been activated.

Procedure Expected Results

Objective Verify that the SPS can delete the Route-Record field and replace the host name
and realm name carried in a Diameter message to screen certain network
configurations and topology structures from devices on other carrier's networks.

default rule of SPS_A.
 The license that supports session binding has been activated on SPS_A. In
addition, P69 has been set to 0 and P54 has been set to 1 on SPS_A.
 Run ADD RTRESULT on SPS_A to add a Diameter route result with Route
result name set to rt, Relay device selection mode set to
MASTER_SLAVE(MASTER SLAVE), Relay device 1 set to the peer name
of Peer device 3, and Relay device 2 set to the peer name of Peer device 4.
 Run ADD DMRT on SPS_A to add a route between SPS_A and Peer device
3 with Realm name set to the domain name of Peer device 3, Application
identifier set to Gx(PCEF-PCRF), Local action set to RELAY(RELAY),
