RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING FOR APPROVAL THE FORMULATED POLICIES BY THE

BARANGAY COUNCIL FOR THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN (BCPC) IN DEVELOPING
MAJOR CHILD RIGHTS IN BARANGAY ARTACHO, BAUTISTA, PANGASINAN FOR
CALENDAR YEAR 2021.
Whereas, Executive Chairman Novel M. Niño instructed the committee members to formulate stout
and effective policies for child rights principally rights on survival, development, protection and
participation;
WHEREAS, Republic Act 7610 otherwise known as Special Protection of Children Against
Child Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act and other child-related protection laws such
as but not limited to R.A. No. 9231 (An Act Providing for the Elimination of the Worst Forms of
Child Labor), R.A. No. 9208 (The Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003), R.A. No. 9262
(Violence Against Women and Their Children Act), R.A. No. 9344 (The Juvenile Justice and
Welfare Act), R.A. No. 9775 (Anti-Child Pornography Act of 2009) and others serves as the
foreground in formulating such policies in each rights of child;

barangay

abuse and to maintain drug
free barangay

BCPC ACTION NEEDED
BCPC shall strictly monitor every schools
to conduct the said activity following
DepEd guidelines and other related laws
*BCPC shall ensure the implementation of
each activities and appropriate use of
fund. BCPC may also help the increase of
BCPC fund through acceptance of
donations or conduct fund raising
activities
BCPC shall lead the monthly home
visitation to children, and participate in
inviting parents to immunize their
children during the scheduled
immunization
BCPC shall participate in the strict
inspection of every food businesses
*BCPC shall participate the reading
activity and ensure the implementation of
Establishment of Information Reading
Center
*BCPC shall lead in inviting teens and
youth to participate in the said activity
*BCPC shall endorse to Barangay
Development Council the said PPA to
include in Barangay Annual Investment
Program

Whereas, those policies endorsing to Sangguniang Barangay to generate with policy statement and
commitment including its implementing mechanism upon approval;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of committee member MARIBEL C. BRACEROS duly seconded by

all committee members present, be it;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to recommend the above-mentioned policies for

the rights of every child in Barangay Artacho, Bautista, Pangasinan for calendar year 2021;

RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish copies of this resolution to Sangguniang Barangay and Barangay
Development Council, and other concern agencies for their information and guidance.
