Good morning everyone. My speech for today is online classes vs offline classes.

The Covid-19 pandemic brought a dynamic shift in the education system. Lockdown
led to shutdown of physical classroom and online education became the new norm.
The advancement of technology have made it easier to connect and help learning
better in online classes
Although online learning has managed to keep education alive, we cannot replace
the traditional learning system, where students and teachers have face-to-face
learning.
Both forms of education have their advantages and disadvantages.
1. It is not necessary to be available in the same town to learn - online
class can be attended from anywhere whereas, for offline class we
need to be available at specific location to attend in classroom.
2. Time management is a challenge that both teachers and students
face when having education online. But with offline class, a strict
schedule is set that makes a habit of learning to finish their
designated work with pre-determined schedule.
3. Students are less likely to remain serious and committed to their
studies with online education. But with offline education students
remain more serious and committed to their studies.
4. Virtual classrooms are flexible and students can set their own
learning pace where as physical classrooms has their own schedule
set and students need to attend lectures on time as there is no
recorded videos available.
5. Online Education is cost effective and time saving. Offline education
is more expensive than online education and consumes more time
6. There is face to face interaction between teachers and students in
offline class. Active communication between students and teachers
which allows for lively discussions and debates between them. But
there is not much of any interaction between students and teachers
in online education.
7. Online education is purely theoretical and takes place entirely
online. Offline education has a practical as well as theoretical
approach and helps in skill development of the students.
Despite of pros and cons for both online and offline education system it majorly
depends on an individual to choose the platform they can well adapt too and can
grasp the knowledge.
