Brief reflection

According to the results from the Johari’s Window test that I took from kevan.org, 1.) the
traits listed in the Arena are introverted, quiet, and shy, 2.) the traits listed in the Blind Spot are
observant and self-conscious, 3. the traits listed in the Facade are nervous and religious, 4.) the
traits listed in the Unknown are energetic, happy, intelligent and many more. I agree with the
traits listed in the Arena because they describe who I am as a person and I believe that I act like
these all the time and people like my parents know that I am that kind of person. For the Façade,
I agree with the traits because others don’t know that I am like these or like that because I don’t
show or acted like that often to them. I also agree with the traits in the Blind Spot as well. After
all, I believe my parents, who were the people that filled up the Blind Spot, knew something in
me that I did not know of or I just did not observe it myself since they know me well more than I
know myself since am their son. I may act like the traits listed in the Blind Spot or there may be
a time when I act like that but I did not know because I did not believe that I acted like that. I
was surprised by the results of my Johari’s Window especially in the Unknown since there are a
lot of traits listed there which are the traits that I did not pick because these traits don’t describe
who I am. The traits listed in my Johari’s Window that I think I need to improve are the traits
listed in the Arena which are quiet, shy, and introverted because I acted like these ever since I
was a child. For me to improve, I will get out of my shell or my comfort zone because doing that
will develop my inner strength, build up my confidence, and make me more adaptable to change.
