ASSIGNMENT QUESTION

Part I (50%)

PURPOSE
A thoughtful new employee entry process can help to reduce employee turnover and
thus save company’s money. The purpose of this assignment is to enhance learners’
ability to discuss how organisations act during new employee entry process and to
recommend methods that can improve organisational entry process.

REQUIREMENT
Select any one organisation that you are familiar with. Discuss what happens during
each of the stage at the selected organisation:
(a) Attracting Job Candidates
(b) Realistic Recruitment
(c) Assessment and Selection

Provide suggestions to improve organisational entry process in the selected


organisation.

a. It is important to come up with your own career planning and development

b. Explain with examples, how companies would have implemented career
planning and development programmes during the Covid-19 pandemic

TUJUAN
Proses kemasukan pekerja baharu yang bijak boleh membantu mengurangkan pusing
ganti pekerja dan dengan itu menjimatkan wang syarikat. Tujuan tugasan ini adalah
untuk meningkatkan keupayaan pelajar untuk membincangkan bagaimana organisasi-
organisasi bertindak semasa proses kemasukan pekerja baharu dan mengesyorkan
kaedah-kaedah yang dapat meningkatkan proses kemasukan ke organisasi.

KEPERLUAN
Pilih mana-mana satu organisasi yang anda kenal. Bincangkan apa yang berlaku semasa
setiap peringkat ini dalam organisasi yang dipilih:
(a) Menarik Calon Pekerjaan
(b) Perekrutan Realistik
(c) Penilaian dan Pemilihan
