To Whom This May Concern,

I’ve had the pleasure of working with James Ebomoyi for two and a half years while
serving as the Cabrini-Green Site Director at By The Hand Club For Kids. While he was
working here, he exhibited an exceptional servitude which hasn’t been matched since.

He managed a class of about 25 students and he did a great job mentoring them and
educating them. Whenever any of his students would fall behind in their coursework, he
would put together an academic plan so they could get back on track. He also collaborated
with teachers and parents to ensure there was a full circle of accountability.

Furthermore, Mr. Ebomoyi also chose to lead our Boxes of Love project which is an annual
event where we provide turkeys and other canned goods to our participating families
around Thanksgiving time. He did a terrific job coordinating that event by having the
baskets properly arranged, delegating duties to staff, and creating a spreadsheet with the
parents’ contact information.

Due to such outstanding service he received the Team Leader of the Year award, a
Certificate of Excellence, and a Certificate of Leadership. In addition, he was recently
awarded a Volunteer Appreciation Award because of the consistent support he’s provided at
two different sites.

In essence, Mr. Ebomoyi has made himself available for almost every opportunity that By
the Hand has had to offer; from mentoring others to assisting in various community events.
I’m certain he would be an excellent addition to any organization.
