proceed to the other rules in other to widen our knowledge in the rules of
basketball 

6. The offense must advance the ball.

 I assume that by this time you already know the
difference between the defense team and the offensive
team. Mayroong 10 seconds ang offense team to get the
ball over the midcourt line and once an offensive team
advances the ball past the half-court line or yung mid
If it does,
referee will award possession of the ball to the opposing
team. Meaning to say the ball will be awarded to the
defense team.
7. Ball and ball handler must remain inbounds. During gameplay,
the player who possess the ball must stay within the
designated inbounds lines marked on the court. Ibig sabihin
player habang hawak nya yung bola but the inbounding player
may move backward as far as the space allows. So what will
happen if in case the ball handler touches or is out within his
designated inbound lines? Well the answer is…the referee will
award possession to the opposing team and additionally, if a
player shoots the ball while their foot is touching the line and
the shot is successful, it will not count.
8. Defenders can’t interfere with a shot on a downward trajectory.
After the offensive player shoots the ball, it is illegal for a
defensive player to interfere with it once it begins to shoot
above the rim. This interference is called a goal tend and will
result in an automatic field goal for the offense if the. Yung field
goal may be either 2 or three points. On the other hand kung
yung magiging shot and the defense will get the ball.
9. Defenders can legally block or steal the ball. Of course yung
goal ng defending team is to prevent the offensive team to
have a score. In order to do that they could steal the ball or
block the ball from entering the basket, or kaya naman pwede
offensive team na makapag shoot or makapag score.
10. Defenders must leave the paint after three seconds. The
area directly in front of the basket is sometimes referred to as
"the paint" or "inside the key." This rule says that a player
cannot stay inside the paint for more than 3 consecutive
seconds. Maximum na yung 3 seconds na pwedeng mag stay
yung individual player sa iisang spot. Yung purpose neto is to
make the game more dynamic. If the referee notices a player
hovering in the paint for over three seconds, the team will
receive a three-second violation.
