PEACE AND ORDER SITUATION REPORT


December 2021

I. GENERAL:

This report presents the prevailing peace and order situation in the Municipality
of Angono Rizal for December 2021 in comparison with December 2020& with
November 2021. This also contains crime trends and analysis, investigation
accomplishments, and assessment of the current situation.

II. INVESTIGATIVE ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

A. Crime Trend

1. Crime Volume

Based on CIRAS, for the period covering December 1-31, 2021, a total of
seventeen (17) crime incidents were registered as compared to Thirty-Seven (37) crime
incidents in the same period last year November 2021.

Out of seventeen (17) crime incidents recorded for December 2021, six (6) were
Index crimes with an increase of two (2) crime incidents or 50 % as compared to four (4)
Index crimes recorded in November 2021.

The remaining eleven (11) were non-index crimes representing a decrease of


nine (9) crime incidents or 45 % compared to twenty (20) non-index crimes registered in
November 2021 and had a decreased of twenty (20) crime incidents or 64.51 %
compared to thirty-one (31) non-index crimes recorded in the previous year (December
2021).

2. Average Monthly Crime Rate

The Crime Volume of seventeen (17) crime incidents for DECEMBER


2021 registered an Average Monthly Crime Rate (AMCR) of 13.03 incidents per
100,000 populations showing a decrease of 14.59 compared to AMCR of December
2020 (27.59), and an decreased of 5.36 compared to the AMCR of November 2021.

3. Crime Solution and Crime Clearance

Out of the total crime volume of seventeen (17) crime incidents reported in
this Municipality during the period covered, fourteen (14) crimes were cleared
registering 82.35 % Crime Clearance Efficiency (CCE). Out of fourteen (14) cleared
cases, twelve (12) were solved with 70.59 % Crime Solution Efficiency (CSE).

4. Discussion and Analysis of Crime Statistics


Figure 2 shows that, out of seventeen (17) crime incidents from PNP
Blotter/Traffic, six (6) index crimes are broken down into four (4) or 35 % of pie. Most
prevalent crime for the month were theft and robbery both with two (2), and a total of
four (4) contributing 25 % of the pie chart.

From the recorded total crime incidents of seventeen (17) for the period in
review, eleven (11) or 65 % are non-index crimes, consisting of Violation of Special
Laws contributing 9 or 53 % and other non-index crimes with a total crime volume of 2
or 12 %.

All crime incidents recorded for the month in the review were properly
investigated and 100% reported.

For the period in review, six (6) cases of RA 9165 and all has already been filed
at the Rizal Provincial Prosecutor’s Office Taytay, Rizal.

III. ANALYSIS:

Continuous communication/meetings and dialogues with the Security


Officers/Managers and business owners/management of business establishment are
being conducted to address the occurrence of crimes in said places specifically for theft
and robbery cases. Further, the continued conduct of visitation and dialogue within
barangays and homeowners’ association of different subdivisions so that appropriate
security measures can be undertaken. Conduct Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law
Enforcement Operations (SACLEO), implementation of strict anti-illegal drugs and
gambling operations, and operation against motorcycle-riding criminals (MRC). This
office will implement the continuous distribution of IEC materials as part of the anti-
criminality campaign for the prevention of crimes within the area of responsibility.

This Office through the guidance and supervision of the Provincial Director
continuously enhanced its interventions not only in police operations but also the police-
community relations to prevent the occurrence of crimes within AOR in coordination with
the LGUs and other stakeholders of the community.
