Social Studies is a realistic subject because it studies human beings in the real-
life situation. In fact, by studying Social Studies, the skills and knowledge of human
beings will be developed for them to function well in the society. It is essential for
teachers to use child-centered methods to realize the stated objectives, goals and aims
of the subject. Innovative methods of teaching are the goal of many educators. Teaching
students in ways that keep them engaged and interested in the material can sometimes
be a challenge. In the short-attention-span world we live in, it can be harder than ever to
keep high school students excited and engrossed in learning (Parker, 2007). According

which provide a lot of resources, learning could be a fun and exciting experience. It will
also help students to fully grasp an understanding of the subject that they learn
(Vaughan, 2010).

This study will be conducted at Payas National High School, Santa Barbara,
Pangasinan during the school year 2019-2020. The subjects of this are the two sections
of Grade Ten students that are handled by the researcher. They are equally divided by
