LESSON 10 ACTIVITY Write a reflection on Rizal’s Self Discipline attitude. In my own thoughts, Jose Rizal informs me the value of several things that are essential to his life's achievement. God, Family, Country, and Self are the four components. I've learned from Rizal's life that you should build a good living for yourself. He trains himself to gain understanding and information so that he might use it for God's purposes. He didn't tell himself that he wasn't valuable enough, and he didn't live in denial about what was going on around him. Throughout his life, Rizal exhibited a great deal of self-control. Two noteworthy examples should be mentioned. During his undergraduate days in Madrid, he demonstrated self-control. He once paid a visit to the Paterno brothers' home (Antonio, Maximo and Pedro). They toured him around their home, and Rizal was grateful for their kindness. Rizal declined to show the images he possessed when Pedro suggested it. Another example is when Rizal was in his birthplace of Bian, he would get up at four a.m. every day to attend morning mass, and if there was no mass, he would have one hour to study his courses. These are illustrations of Rizal's discipline.
