11. In a Mathematics test, Horace gets 86 marks and Ringo gets 68 marks. The standard deviation
of the scores in the test is 8 marks and the standard score of Horace in the test is 1.5 .

(b) The teacher is not satisfied with the performances of the students in this test. He adjusted
the score of each student such that each score is increased by 30 % and then 3 marks are
added.
