Program Payment Schedule
ATP follows a multiple-installment payment schedule.
This not only saves you from accruing interest on
excess funds, but also gives you additional protection
since ATP does not accept the entire amount of your
loan proceeds up front. Visit ATPFlightSchool.com for
specific payment schedules. ATP does not accept
credit card payments for the Airline Career Pilot
Program, except for the first $995 payment required to
reserve your class date.
Fixed-Cost Pricing
ATP has consistently trained thousands of pilots for
certification at exactly the advertised price. Other
flight schools and academies quote prices based on
minimum FAA flight times – most students pay much
more. In contrast, ATP already includes realistic flight
times required for certification. Plus, you need this
valuable flight time to qualify for airline employment.

What's Not Included in the
Fixed-Cost Price
Logged flight times may vary slightly due to flight
check times and other considerations. Not included
in your fixed price are FAA knowledge tests and
examiners' fees ($8,400-$9,200), iPad, third party iPad
apps and subscriptions, headset, flight bag, other pilot
gear that you will need (purchased separately).
Required Availability
Students must be available for training at least five full
days (determined by ATP) each week. ATP strives to
provide two days off each week. Because schedules
are built to maximize student return on investment and
keep students on schedule with projected completion
dates, weekend flying may be required. There may be
delays due to maintenance, weather, and other factors
outside of ATP’s control. Students are expected to
be present at the training center and adaptable to
schedule changes.
Time Away from Primary
Training Center
To maximize efficiency and expose you to different
environments, you may spend up to three weeks away
from your primary training center.
Refund Policy
You or ATP reserve the right to terminate your training
at any time, making you (or a designated lending
source) eligible for a pro-rated refund which will be
issued within 15 days following program termination.
ATP’s refund policy quickly accommodates students
who elect to discontinue the program for any reason.
It is important to receive your refund in an expeditious
manner so you can use the funds to continue your
flight training at another school, repay a loan, or cover
emergency needs. ATP is the only flight school or
academy that offers this level of protection.
