Direct Control of Pneumatic Cylinder
Circuit 1
Problem:- When 3/2 push button spring return valve is pressed the
cylinder should extend and when button released the cylinder
should retract ( use single acting cylinder)
• A 3 port valve provides the inlet, outlet and
exhaust path and is the normal choice for control
of a single acting cylinder
• In the normal position produced by the spring, the
valve is closed
2 • In the operated position produced by the push
button the valve is open
3 1
• The push button must be held down for as long as
the cylinder is in out-stroke Tushar Agarwal
