What I already know about gun control:

I have been able to learn a lot about gun control through just past assignments and from

my family members who have more experience on gun control. I know that a very small

percentage of people who own guns actually hurt someone with a gun. There is a very small

chance of having an accident when using a gun because gun owners are very good at storing

their guns and ammo and teaching each other proper safety when using a gun. I also know that

with the rise in people suggesting gun control guns and ammo prices have gone way up because

of the high demand. Also when people say these kinds of things gun owners get very mad and

point out that it is their constitutional right to own a gun.

What I want to know about gun control: 

I would like to know why so many people are calling out about gun control recently. Is it

because of the rise in school shootings or because gun related stories scare people when they are

in the news? I would like to know more about the people who are for gun control, how many of

those people have actually been around guns or if they just hear stories and decide that the

answer to gun related violence is to have gun control? I think that if I were able to find out more

about the other side of gun control I would be able to come up with a better solution for this

problem.

In order to find sources that will be able to answer some of my questions about gun

control I plan to do some research about the arguments for gun control. I also think that it is

important to find more reliable statistics for my issue, yes but also some of the psychology

around the issue. Is there a certain reason that we are focused on the gun control problem even

though mosquitoes kill more people every year then a gun has. Being able to find out more about

my questions will be able to better help me to find a solution for the topic of gun control.
