Patrones Animalitos
Necessary materials:
Yarn at least 2 colors (optional, can be more) preferably one thickness and quality.
I used for Bunny-Angora Alize REAL 40;
For the fox - Childish whim (Pechora).
Ammount for one toy of the main color yarn - about 40 gr
additional colors - appx 20-30 gr
Yarn: smooth or velor for the nose of a fox. You can use Velor from Nazar, Nubuk from
Kartopu or any not very thick acrylic yarn - quite a bit.
Hook 1,5 мм. (or size to suit your yarn)
12 mm diameter eyes ;
Filler;
4 teddy joints, or A flat button with a diameter of 15 mm for fastening limbs
Abbreviations:
ch – chain
slst – slip st
sc – single crochet
hdc – half double crochet
inc - increase
dec - decrease
Bs – A bias stitch (an extra stitch
so as to move the marker to a new
place )
Mm – Move marker
6-10 : 42 sc, at the same time- use the Jacquard pattern on the diagram below.
In the diagram the arrows show the direction of reading and knitting the pattern
Red line = middle of parts.
Blue space shows the placement of joints if using.
These designations are the same for all diagrams in this master class.
Important point:
When you change the color of a new thread, change at the last step of the stitch of the
previous color. That is, if you need to change the white color in the figure for Brown, the last
stitch would be – ‘hook in stitch /yo/pull through (2 loops on hook)’ now join the brown
thread and pull brown through the 2 white stitches.
The following stitch is completely Brown thread.
Insert insole.
13 : 9 sc, 6 dec, 9 sc = 24 sc
14 : (2 sc, dec) х 6 = 18 sc
Arms – Make 2
1 : 6 sc in Magic ring = 6 sc
2 : inc х 6 = 12 sc
3 : (inc, 1 sc) х 6 = 18 sc
4-8 : 18 sc (5 rows)
9 : (7 sc, 1 dec) х 2 = 16 sc, at the same time starting pattern below:
22 : Decreases
before closing .
Crochet 15 sc. Move the marker. This will be the new starting point.
The marker will now go to the center of the chin and through the neck to the crown of the head
30 : (9 sc, dec) х 6 = 60 sc
31 : (8 sc, dec) х 6 = 54 sc
32 : (7 sc, dec) х 6 = 48 sc
33 : (6 sc, dec) х 6 = 42 sc
You can now insert the safety nose if you are using one .
Glue if you are using is better to use later - at the final stage of the design of the head
Nose select by color, size and texture .
Having decided on the choice, insert the nose and fix with the washer on the inner
size of the head
38 : (1 sc, dec) х 6 = 12 sc
39 : dec х 6 = 6 sc
Close hole, cut yarn and hide inside.
Attach your eyes and see if you like this position of the eyes, correct the location of the eyes,
if necessary, and rearrange the pins according to your adjustment.
Pull Tight! The stronger the tightening, the more expressive will be the face. Try to
securely fix the nodules, otherwise they may weaken in time, and "disperse" then the
expression of the muzzle changes
A head for a fox, a kitten or a wolf cub (it will be a little more elongated than a rabbit or a
bear)
The marker will go from nose to center of the Chin and neck-through to the top.
Start with the nose and black yarn:
1 : 6 sc in Magic ring
2 : 6 inc = 12 sc
3-4 : 12 sc
5 : 6 dec = 6 sc
Сhange the thread to the colour of the head

16 : 14 sc, (2 hdc in 1 st, 8 hdc) х 3, 2 hdc in 1 st, 14 sc = 60
17 : 15 sc, 30 hdc, 15 sc = 60
18 : (5 sc, inc) х 10 = 70 sc
Start doing Jacquard pattern on the scheme below:
19-24 : 70 sc (6 rows)
25 : dec, 66 sc, dec = 68 sc
26-27 : 68 sc
28 : dec, 64 sc, dec = 66 sc
29 – 33 : 66 sc (5 rows)
34 : (9 sc, dec) х 6 = 60 sc
35 : (8 sc, dec) х 6 = 54 sc
36 : (7 sc, dec) х 6 = 48 sc
37 : (6 sc, dec) х 6 = 42 sc
38 : (5 sc, dec) х 6 = 36 sc
39 : (4 sc, dec) х 6 = 30 sc
40 : (3 sc, dec) х 6 = 24 sc
41 : (2 sc, dec) х 6 = 18 sc Stuff head
with filler ( average density).
42 : (1 sc, dec) х 6 = 12 sc
43 : dec х 6 = 6 sc
Main parts :
1 : 6 sc in Magic ring= 6 sc
2 : (inc) х 6 = 12 sc
3 : (inc, 1 sc) х 6 = 18 sc
4 : (inc, 2 sc) х 6 = 24 sc
5 : (inc, 3 sc) х 6 = 30 sc
Now you can determine the size of the buttons, which will be located inside the
trunk and will allow the head to rotate.
The diameter of the buttons should be no larger than the circle by knitting the first five rows
of the head. And better, even a little bit less. Define fitting diameter:
6-11 : 30 sc (6 rows)
Insert the button, fasten the ends of the threads tightly with a knot and securely
fix the knot with a drop of glue
I do not cut the ends of the thread, but I twist it and put it on our knots - the glue
will fix the thread and will not let it unwind
16 : 12 sc, (inc) х 6, 12 sc = 36 sc
17 : 12 sc, (inc, 1 sc) х 6, 12 sc = 42 sc
18 : 12 sc, (inc, 2 sc) х 6, 12 sc = 48 sc
19 -20 : 48 sc
21 : (1 sc, inc) х 4, 32 sc, (inc, 1 sc) х 4 = 56 sc
22 : 56 sc
Make hole for joints of the legs:
23 : 13 sc, 2 ch, skip 2 stiches, (for joint), 26 sc, 2 ch, skip 2 stiches, (for joint), 13 sc = 56
24-26 : 56 sc (3 rows)
27 : (5 sc, dec) х 8 = 48 sc
Insert the legs and fit their plugs inside. Do not forget that there is a right and left
leg))))
33 : (1 sc, dec) х 6 = 12 sc
34 : dec х 6 = 6 sc
Close hole, secure thread and tuck inside
2 : inc х 6 = 12 sc
3 : (inc, 1 sc) х 6 = 18 sc
4 : (inc, 2 sc) х 6 = 24 sc
5 : (inc, 3 sc) х 6 = 30 sc
6-8 : 30 sc
9 : Fold the ear in half (do not fill it!) and join both sides with 14 sc. . Leave a
sewing thread
The location of the ears is determined by fitting. Try different options and only then sew
2 : inc х 6 = 12 sc
3 : (inc, 1 sc) х 6 = 18 sc
4 : (inc, 2 sc) х 6 = 24 sc
5-7 : 24 sc now following scheme bellow
8 : (2 sc, dec) х 6 = 18 sc
Secure thread and trim, leaving a tail for sewing. Before sewing
stuff tail with filler
2 : inc х 6 = 12 sc
3 : (inc, 1 sc) х 6 = 18 sc
4-5 : 18 sc
6 : (4 sc, 1 dec) х 3 = 15 sc
Secure thread and leave a tail for sewing. Fill
before sewing to body

Mark detail along the contour on cardboard or plastic and cut out insoles.
6-10 : 42 sc, at the same time- use the Jacquard pattern on the diagram below.
Insert insole.
15-18 : 18 sc (4 rows)
19: for the left leg: 14 sc, 2 ch, skip 2 stiches, (for joint), 2 sc = 18
19: for the right leg: 3 sc, 2 ch, skip 2 stiches, (for joint), 13 sc = 18
20: 18 sc
Insert joint cap with output into the hole especially made for it in row 19.
Arms – Make 2
1 : 6 sc in Magic ring = 6 sc
2: inc х 6 = 12 sc
3: (inc, 1 sc) х 6 = 18 sc
4-8 : 18 sc (5 rows)
21: 16 sc
Insert the joint to attach the arms to the body as you did for the legs
1: 6 sc in Magic ring
2: (3 sc in 1 st, 1 sc) х 3 = 12 sc
Crochet 15 sc. Move the marker. This will be the new starting point.
The marker will now go to the centre of the chin and through the neck to the crown of the head

You can now insert the safety nose if you are using one .
38 : (1 sc, dec) х 6 = 12 sc
39 : dec х 6 = 6 sc
Make thee indent for eyes: see pattern picture instructions as well
To start, we need to mark three points: a point in the region of the future neck - it is located at
the bottom center between the 15th and 16th rows of the head (with the marker line, the center
of the head may not coincide - see the photo) and the points of the eyes
The inner corners of the eyes are 2-3 rows away from the nose, and the outer corners are between
rows 11 and 12 of head (where hdc is ).
Attach your eyes and see if you like this position of the eyes, correct the location of the eyes, if
necessary, and rearrange the pins according to your adjustment.
Pull Tight! The stronger the tightening, the more expressive will be the face. Try to securely fix
the nodules, otherwise they may weaken in time, and "disperse" then the expression of the

Embroider your mouth and eyebrows. Where the area of the eyes is sunk you can glue some
eyelashes. You can shade round the eyes with whatever you normally use
