Activity- I will flashed two (2) pictures in one (1) word and you will identify what types of measuring tools
is being flashed. Match it to its description posted on the board.

E. Discussing New Concepts and Practicing New Skills #2


 Activity – I have here an object, you are going to pass it to your classmate while singing a song “Baby
Shark”, when I say “stop” the person who is holding the object will pick and demonstrate the how to
use measuring tools.

Guide questions:
 Did you find it easy? Why or why not?
 What types of measuring tools is hard for you to demonstrate? Why or why not?
 Are identifying measuring tools important in our industry? Why or why not?

F. Developing Mastery-
 Activity- There are measuring tools in front with a corresponding number. What you are going to do is
to identify what types of measuring tools are being displayed. You will fall a line and answer on your ¼
sheet of paper one by one. In the last item you will pick randomly and demonstrate what you have
picked.

Guide questions:
 How do you feel when you’re doing the task?
 Do we really need to know the types of measuring tools?
