1. lawyer (n):

counselor. Ex: she be came a lawyer as her father had before her.

2. Nurse (n) :

Nuese (n) : aperson trained to care for the sick or infirm, especially in a

hospital. Ex: he is a nurse .

Nurse (v) : give medical and other attention to ( a sick person ).

Example : she nursed the gril through a dangerous illness.

PRESENT PERFECT

 We use the present perfect to talk about situations that began in the past and
continue in the present .

_ I have lived in BMC for ten years.

 We often use the present perfect to talk about life experiences.

_ I have had three jobs since 1 left university.

 The present perfect is formed with have / has + the past participle of the main
verb.
1. Positive form : S + Have / Has + V3 + Obj
* Not : “ Have “ is used with “ I / you / we / they / name ”
“ Has ” is used with “ He / she / it / name ”

Example :

_ They have bought cookies.

_She has married for 7 years.

_He has never made any caked.

_I have studied at NMU for 4 years.

1. Negative form: S + have / has + Not + V3 + Obj
Example :
_ They haven’t bought cookies.
_ She hasn’t married for 7 years.

_Since is used with the stared point.

_ For is used with duration or the amoun of time .

Example :
