Rental Requirements
All drivers must present a valid driver's license and credit card in their
own name. Driver's must have a safe driving record and may be
subject to a Department of Motor Vehicle check. Full coverage
insurance is required on all our vehicles and must be verified prior to
rental.
Cancellation Policy
We require a minimum of 48 hours cancellation notice:
• 48 hours or more cancellation notices are at NO
CHARGE.
• Less than 48 hours cancellation notices are subject to
ONE FULL DAY RENTAL charge plus all applicable taxes.
Special Equipment
Child safety seats are available for those who will be traveling to town

Rental Rates

Refueling Charge
You will be provided with a full tank of gas at the time of your rental.
We ask that you return the vehicle with the same gasoline level. The
fuel level amount will be printed on your rental contract. If you return
it with less gasoline, we will charge you $8.49/gal used. (Rate is

International Drivers
International drivers are welcome! We accept foreign drivers license
for many countries, and of course all international licenses are
accepted. Drivers with foreign licenses must present your passport
along with your driver's license.
Late Charge
We do offer a 1-hour grace period. If you exceed the 24 hour period
by more than 1 hour, a per hour late charge will apply to each hour
late. Maximum 2 hours permited, after the 2nd hour an additional full
day rate will be applied.

Driving Rules & Regulations in California
California state law requires that when you are traveling in a motor
vehicle, the driver and all passengers must wear their seat belts at all
times. Children weighing less than 50 pounds must be secured in a
child safety seat.
Driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs is a serious
offense in California. A person is considered legally drunk when his or
her blood alcohol level reaches .08%. It is illegal for anyone less than
21 years old to consume alcohol in any quantity at any time in
California.
Smoking is not permitted in restaurants, bars, theaters, auditoriums
and most public buildings.
In California, parking meters and painted curbs are in operation and
are closely monitored 24 hours a day by the authorities. Citations and
fines are expensive; to avoid them, be sure to read all parking signs
carefully before parking your vehicle.

Reservation Booking Number - When you first place your online

reservation you will receive a reservation BOOKING NUMBER that is

Barbara, San Francisco or Las Vegas and we will pick it up for you. Los

Guaranteed Rates
Olympic Rent-A-Car of Beverly Hills will guarantee the vehicle and rate when
a reservation is confirmed, or we will offer an upgrade and honor the
reservation rate.
Vehicle Replacement
Olympic Rent-A-Car of Beverly Hills provides replacement vehicles when your
vehicle is being serviced or repaired at a Factory Dealership, Body Shop or
Repair facility. We can also directly bill all major insurance companies during
an accident insurance claim. Please call us for our insurance rate specials and
we will be more then happy to deliver the rental vehicle to you.
Rental Policies
Olympic Rent-A-Car of Beverly Hills requires that all renters have a valid
driver's license and major credit card. We accept American Express, Visa,
Master Card and Discover credit cards. Check or Cash deposits are not
accepted.
United States residents must have proof of insurance coverage consisting of
Liability, Comprehensive and Collision coverage that will transfer to our
rental vehicle. You may check with your insurance provider to increase your
insurance coverage, add Comprehensive and Collision coverage or change
insurance companies to one who provides rental vehicle coverage. Please
make sure to provide your insurance company with the specific make and
model of our rental vehicle. You may check with your credit card provider
and see if they offer rental car protection, rental car insurance or rental car
coverage. Please make sure to provide them with the specific make and
model of our rental vehicle.
New York residents must have a major credit card. You may check with your
credit card provider and see if they offer rental car protection, insurance or
coverage. Please make sure to provide them with the specific make and
model of our rental vehicle.
Non residents of United States must have a major credit card. You may
check with your credit card provider and see if they offer rental car
protection, insurance or coverage. Please make sure to provide them with
the specific make and model of our rental vehicle.
Cancelation Policy
All reservations require a minimum of 24 hours cancellation notice for a full
refund of the security deposit. Reservations with less than 24 hours
cancellation notice are subject to ONE FULL DAY RENTAL charge plus all
applicable taxes.
No Show Policy
Reservations are valid and honored for up to four hours after the requested
pick up time. If the vehicle is not picked up within four hours of the
requested pick up time your reservation status will be changed to a NO
SHOW. We ask that you contact Olympic Rent-A-Car if you need to change
the pick up time of your requested vehicle to avoid any additional charges. If
you do not arrive by your scheduled pick up time, your reservation will be
cancelled.
Security Deposit
Olympic Rent-A-Car secures a security deposit authorization on your credit
card prior to your pick up time. The security deposit is a credit card
authorization, not an actual charge on your credit card. The security deposits
vary based on the rental vehicle you choose to rent and the number of days
you plan on renting the vehicle. The security deposit consists of your
estimated rental charges and for possible late charges. Once the rental
vehicle is returned to our rental office, we refund the security deposit back to
you credit card. The minimum rental security deposit to rent one of our
luxury or exotic rental vehicles is $1,000.
Age Requirements
The minimum age required to rent at Olympic Rent-A-Car is 18 years of age.
You must be 21 years of age or older to rent an exotic rental vehicle.
Additional Drivers Policy
At the time of rental an additional driver must be at least 18 years of age,
and 21 years of age for exotic rental vehicles, present a valid driver's license
and present a honored charge card. An authorized driver for a disabled
renter is exempt from the additional driver credit requirement. There is no
charge for additional drivers for rentals beginning at this location. However,
all additional drivers must have their own credit card, in their name and
present them at the time of the rental.
Child Safety Seats
Child Safety Seats are available at this location with a minimum of 24-hour
advance booking. There is no additional cost for the Child Safety Seat. Since
availability at times is limited, please reserve child seats in advance.
Driving and Mileage Restrictions
Olympic Rent-A-Car vehicles are permitted to enter California and Nevada
only. Rental vehicles must have written permission to drive or leave the state
of California and Nevada. No smoking allowed in our rental vehicles. A $250
cleaning fee may be applied. Please check your rental agreement for daily
and weekly mileage restrictions based on the specified due date on your
rental agreement. Rental vehicles have a monthly mileage restriction cap.

Rental Policies

Acceptable Charge Cards

The charge card must be in the renter's name. Check or Cash cards are not
accepted as credit identification at the beginning of the rental. They can be used
however at the end of the rental for payment of rental charges.Pre-paid credit
cards are not accepted at any time. Debit cards with Visa Logos may be
accepted on short term- standard car rentals. Debit cards may not be used for
SUV, luxury or Van rentals. A minimum of $500.00 must be available on a debit
card, proof of residency, utility bill, and current driver's license must accompany

Renter

Renters may purchase Renters Liability insurance (RLI) at the time of rental.
Renters in California who purchase RLI will recieve California required liability
coverage. WRITTEN PROOF OF LIABILITY COVERAGE IS REQUIRED AT
OUR OFFICE IF YOU WILL BE DECLINING OUR COVERAGE.
Under Age Policy

Renters must be a minimum of 21 years of age. You may rent if you are under 21
with proof of full coverage transferable insurance. If you are under 21 you must
provide us with a copy of your insurance so we may verify policy before renting.

Vehicles Leaving California

Vehicles leaving the state of California must have written permission from Black
and White Rent A Car. Vehicles are never permitted into Mexico.
Collision Damage Waiver

In California, the renter is liable for all damage to the Rented vehicle regardless
of fault. The renter is also liable for loss of use of the vehicle (revenue lost while
the car is being repaired). Renters may purchase Collision Damage Waiver
(CDW) which relieves them of all financial responsibility for loss or damage to the
Rental vehicle as long as they comply with the terms of the rental agreement. In
California, CDW does not relieve the renter for theft resulting from failure to use
ordinary care. Cost of CDW will vary by car, group and rate. If you have rental car
coverage through your personal insurance or charge card, CDW offers maximum
protection while your personal insurance or charge card coverage may contain a
deductible. If you have any questions, check with your insurance provider.
Written proof of insurance is required.
Driver

All drivers must have a valid driver's license in their possession to rent a vehicle.
No copies or faxed licenses will be accepted at any time. The original license
must be presented, and must be in the name of the driver. The renter's driver's
license must be valid for the entire rental period, with the following exception: An
expired U.S. State driver's license of U.S. military personnel on active duty is
accepted at this location. The renter must present proof that he/she is on active
duty. Expired licenses of U.S. military personnel returning from overseas duty are
accepted for up to 60 days after discharge. An International Driving Permit (IDP)
serves only as a translation of a valid driver's license. An IDP must always be
presented in conjunction with the official drivers license of the issuing country.
Black & White Rent a Car will not rent to a holder of a license that restricts them
to daytime driving only or to business driving only. A learner's permit is not
accepted. A valid temporary license is accepted. Expired licenses will not be
accepted.
Contract Rates

If your vehicle is needed beyond the due date stated at the time of the opening of
the contract, the customer MUST return to the original rental office and sign a
new contract. The rate is subject to change. When a vehicle is reserved and
rented, the confirmed rate is only good during that specific time period. Any
extension, or revision of the orginal reservation of any amount of time will result
in a rate change. Rates are not pro-rated.
Fuel Policy

Fuel must be returned with same amount rented out. A fuel charge will be
charged at the end of the rental otherwise.
No Brand Guarantees

Black & White Rent a Car does not guarantee specific brands or colors of
vehicles at any time. If the vehicle that you reserved is not available, an alternate
or upgraded vehicle may be assigned at management discretion.
Special Services

Child Safety Seats are available at this location with a minimum of 24-hour
advance booking. The cost of the Child Safety Seat is $5.00 per day. Since
availability at times is limited, please reserve child seats in advance.
