PROJECT PROPOSAL

I. PROJECT TITLE
BARANGAY YOUTH DEVELOPMENT AND EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM

II. PROJECT DESCRIPTION

a. As stated in RA 10742 otherwise known as the “Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of
2015,” Rule II entitled “The Katipunan ng Kabataan and the Sangguniang Kabataan”
section 8 “Powers and Function of the Sangguniang Kabataan” that the Sangguniang
Kabataan shall (d) Initiate and implement, in coordination with any national government
agency and/or any private or nongovernment institution, programs and projects designed
to promote general welfare, development and empowerment of the youth.

III. PROJECT OBJECTIVE

a. The main target for the implementation of this program is the youth population of
Barangay Iraga, Solana, Cagayan. This project aims to conduct development and
empowerment programs that will help the youths of the barangay become civic-
centered individuals and imparting the core values of Filipinos in their young
minds and developing their skills and social involvement through various
activities conducted within a week.
