TABLE OF CONTENTS Rev 02
OPERATING PROCEDURES 01APR2016
SOP consists of inspections, preparations, and normal procedures. All items of a given procedure are
listed in a sequence that follows a standardized scan of the cockpit panels, unless that sequence goes
against the action priority logic, to ensure that the flight crew performs all actions in the most efficient
way.
SOP is divided into flight phases. The flight crew should perform the SOP actions by memory.
13.0 GENERAL
This part is based on and comply with Flight Operations Manual (FOM 2.4.2 (r); FOM 2.4.2 (d),
FOM 2.4.2 (w); FOM 2.4.2 (p), FOM 2.4.2 (h))
- Safety exterior inspection must be carried out every flight by CAPTAIN.
- The PIC is responsible for safety exterior inspection, he may request for other captain as relief
crew to carry out the safety exterior inspection.
- During the safety exterior inspection walking, the CAPTAIN must wear the safety vest/jacket.
- After finishing the safety exterior inspection, the captain who carries out the inspection must
notify the crew member by a standard call: “the exterior walk around check completed”. If
any unusual conditions are suspected, a detail situation must be briefed between all crew
members before giving the solution.
