    WaterGEMS Quick Start Lessons

    Step 1: Create a New Hydraulic Model File

    1. Start WaterGEMS from Start > All Programs > Bentley.


    2. On the Welcome dialog click Create New Hydraulic Model; otherwise select
    File > New.

    3. If you receive a prompt about associating this file with a CONNECTED


    Hydraulic Model, select Never Prompt. Then click OK

    4. Choose Tools > More > Options, Click the Units tab. Since you will be working
    in System International (SI) units, click the Reset Defaults button and select SI.
