ACTIVITY DESIGN

TITLE : IPHO Vaccination Team Series of COVID-19 Vaccination Drive for the year 2022

I. RATIONALE:

Building immunity for our people is the most important goal for the government as we
try to solve the global health crisis. According to Republic Act No. 115251 also known as
“COVID-19 Vaccination Program Act” The Philippine government adopted an integrated
approach to health development, which shall endeavor to make essential social and health
services available to all the people.
In 2021 The IPHO vaccination team in partnership with DOH Region 12 and
participation of vaccinators from respective RHU’s of South Cotabato, participated in the
simultaneous vaccination- drive, like Bayanihan Bakunahan, National and Regional
Vaccination Day. The team were augmented to different vaccination sites in the province
and facilitated 20 vaccination drives in total. As of March 1, 2022 South Cotabato has 67%
fully vaccinated eligible population. Integrated Provincial Health Office vaccination team will
still be facilitating approximately 27 vaccination drives, which will help the province to attain
its target of 80% herd Immunity before the year 2022 ends.

Objectives:

 To promote health and prevent community transmission of COVID-19 in the

municipality through regular vaccination programs to all eligible population in the
community.
 To emphasize the importance of shared responsibility to all offices, agencies and
communities in preventing spread, and to totally eliminate COVID-19 in the province.
