Other E/L Fault: Point of Detection Application
[Actions to take]
[Meaning] Other E/L is failed.
An error is detected when ALIVE signal is not received from an E/L included in Check the value of variable(Balive_Member) ADDRESS
NPLEX(group for a certain period. 0x81D with ANNOUNCIATOR.
Here, an E/L whose bit is not set is judged to be a failed E/L.
All E/Ls in NPLEX group can diagnose the other E/Ls for faults by exchanging
ALIVE signal one another which are predetermined.
For example,
If ALIVE signal is not received regularly from a E/L, that E/L is judged to be failed. If 2 E/L is failed among 3 ones,
ADDR 0x81D2 value is 0x05.
But, an E/L that has never run does not affect failure detection though it belongs to If 2 and 3 E/Ls are failed among 3 ones,
NPLEX group. the value is 0x01.
[Symptoms] If there’s no error found in all E/Ls and all E/Ls are masters,
the error may be from communication line disconnection.
An E/L failed is excepted from allocation.
Note) Master E/L check
