At the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
1. define idioms;
2. give examples of idioms and its meanings; and
3. construct sentences using idioms.

IDIOMS

What is an idiom or idiomatic expression?

An idiom is a construction of words or phrases that mean something different


from what the words are literally saying.
