EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

“Veggie Delight” will construct, develop, and operate ice creams. This single retail dipping shop will sell ice creams with
the main ingredient of different variety of vegetables. Vegetable ice creams are the hottest new dessert in town that you will
surely find irresistible. Revenue will be primarily from the sale of hand-dipped ice cream consumed within Panagsama Beach
Resort.

Veggie Delight offers a trendy, fun place to have great ice creams in a social environment. Vegetables will be used to
provide the customers with a diverse, unusual-type but yummy and delicious ice creams. Veggie Delight will also be
emphasizing healthy ice creams, recognizing the trend within the market industry in demand for healthy food.

Veggie Delight will be located in Panagsama Beach Resort in Basdiot, Moalboal, Cebu. Because of its location which
is the center of tourism, many tourists will be engrossed and captivated by our product. Veggie Delight’s primary customers
would draw Panagsama Beach Resort’s trade area population of over 100,000 people, which projected to reach 120,000 by
2020. Customers, especially the tourists will purchase Veggie Delight ice cream when they roam around the resort, or as a
dessert treat upon completing a meal at different restaurants that can be found in the resort.

Veggie Delight also anticipates that many patrons will make the shop their primary destination due to the name
recognition and product quality. Project cost is projected to be 1,000,000 pesos which includes leasehold improvements (build
out of the shop), equipment purchases, opening inventory, and working capital needs. This amount does not include the
150,000 pesos franchise fee, 50,000 pesos Veggie Delight’s grand opening contribution, and 100,000 pesos cost of architect’s
plans for the store.

Veggie Delight has assembled a strong management team. Narlou T. Tabanao will be the General Manager. Christine
E. Sasing will assist him with her employee management and accounting skills. More or less six to ten high school or college
students will be hired to work shifts in climax sales periods, and part time workers may be hired on an “as needed” basis for
particular projects for servicing of other extraordinary functions.

Most important to Veggie Delight is the financial success which will be achieved through strict financial controls.
Additionally, success will be ensured by offering a high quality service and extremely clean ice creams with interesting twists.
Veggie Delight does plan to raise ice cream rates as the store gets more and more crowded, and to make sure that we are
charging a premium for the feeling of being in the “crowd”.

In facing products and services for customers has increased over the last decade. Veggie Delight could be fascinating
to everyone that will lead to a healthy lifestyle.

Veggie Delight will produce and sell ice creams with different flavors of vegetables to consumers in Panagsama Beach
Resort. Retail customers will be in the low-to-mid income bracket, and will range from children to adults.

Objectives

1. To construct a building (12’ x 20’) on existing privately owned land property (50’ x 120’)
2. To produce a net profit of at least 3,000,000 pesos by the third year of operation
3. To sell different ice creams with different varieties of vegetables as the main ingredient

Description of Product or Service Offer

Veggie Delight is a single-unit, medium-sized ice cream store. We focus on selling ice creams with different vegetable
flavors as a main ingredient to children and adults in Panagsama Beach Resort in Basdiot, Moalboal, Cebu. Most important to
us is financial success, but we believe this will be achieved by offering high-quality service and extremely clean, yummy ice
creams with interesting twists.

Company’s Most Valued Proposition

Main products to be sold through the Veggie Delight business will be vegetable-flavored ice creams. Vegetable is the
most important ingredient such as squash, carrots, potato, and so on.

Vegetable ice creams are very favorable to our body because they are not just ordinary ice creams; they are types of
ice creams wherein we can acquire vitamins and minerals from vegetables. Everyone loves to eat ice cream, so by making
vegetables into ice cream flavors they can now obtain those vitamins from the veggies. Not like the ordinary ice cream which we
can get high amount of sugar and fats, Veggie Delight is very economical, nutritious, and healthy. It is distinctive because aside
from using a very nutritious vegetable, it also has chocolate flavor to make it more appetizing. Our product is proprietary for the
reason that it is the first ever vegetable-flavored ice cream; the price is inexpensive, the quality is excellent.
