Data Scientist with 12+ years of relevant experience

Job Responsibilities

Candidates would be working on development and deployment of the data solutions across the
value chain for Daimler Trucks
 

Strategy / Department Development / Leadership

•    Develop the strategic direction for the End-to-End data science Solution

•    Establish CoC and drive as a strategic partner to other locations

•    Drive co-location strategy for setting up the Data team as a horizontal technical team for all data
solutions in the organization

•    Develop required technical and domain competency for the teams to go the next level of
ownership

Skills

o Good knowledge of statistical concepts, estimation methods, distributions and data science and data
mining concepts
o Experience in Machine learning algorithms, AI concepts
o Good skills in SQL / query languages
o Very good programming skills in python / R / pyspark
o Conceptualize solution approach and implementation of models
o Experience in visualization tools like powerbi, tableau
o Build capabilities on newer languages, concepts and algorithms
o Excellent communication skills
o Self-sufficient working attitude which requires minimum intervention
o Should have experience of developing solutions based on business requirements
o Extensive experience on working on Agile Scrum & Devops projects is desired.
o Experience of working with cloud platform Microsoft Azure
o Cost estimation tools & methods
o Supplier management
o Demand Management
o German Language Skills will be an added Advantage  

Qualification: B.E., B. Tech, MSc statistics, economietrics, Mtech in AI/ Data science from a reputed
university.
