Dear Parents

The Music & Dance department would like to give a chance to as many
students as possible to participate in the upcoming school events and
competitions in the new academic session 2021-22.

We would like to invite students of classes VI - VIII to send their

audition clippings under the categories mentioned below. A student can
audition in more than one category if she/he wishes.

Students will be contacted depending on their skills and requirements of

the event/competition in the future.

Categories:

• Dance - Any Indian Classical / Western / Folk

• Vocal Music - Hindustani Classical / Western / Folk
• Instrumental - Any Indian / Western instrument

Guidelines of submission:

• No film song/dance.
• Students must send video recordings in MP4 format only. Audio
recordings will not be considered.
• Time duration of the videos should not exceed 2 min.
• Audition videos must be mailed at: auditions@dpsgurgaon.org
• In the 'Subject' of the email please write the following matter:
Dance style/Vocal style/Instrument name / Full name / Class &
Section
e.g. - Western dance / Divay Dua / XII A
• There is no last date of submission. We would like to encourage
students to audition when they feel comfortable and ready for it.
