2.Discuss the communication models?
Ans: They are three types of communication models
1.Linear
2.Interactional
3.Transactional
1.Linear
In linear model, communication is considered one way process where
sender is the only one who sends message and receiver doesn’t give
feedback or response. The message signal is encoded and transmitted
through channel in presence of noise. The sender is more prominent in
linear model of communication.
Example: In Radio. Every evening, you drive home listening to your
favorite radio station. And, while there are a variety of call-in programs
that can allow the audience to connect with radio personalities, for the
most part, radio communication is an example of the linear model.

2.Interactional
The interaction model of communication describes communication
as a two-way process in which participants alternate positions as sender
and receiver and generate meaning by sending and receiving feedback
within physical and psychological contexts.
Example: In this circular model of interaction, the senders are being
interchanged every time a message is passed. Primary examples of the
computer-human scenario are social media platform, chat rooms, online
shopping, ATMs etc.
3.Transactional
The transactional model of communication refers to the
continuous exchange of information where both the sender and receiver
are involved in the process and take turns to communicate messages.
The participants are known as communicators and can be either human
beings or machines.
Example: Examples of the transactional model include a face-to-face
meeting, a telephone call, a Skype call, a chat session, interactive
training, or a meeting in which all attendees participate by sharing ideas
and comments.
